Founder - Co-Owner
Phillip Huffines continues a tradition of three generations of business and community work in the Dallas area. He and his twin brother, Donald, have developed their own legacy by creating a new style of community living.
Phillip graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin in 1981 with a BBA in Petroleum Land Management. Phillip and Donald have assembled more than seventy limited partnerships, focusing mainly on large master planned communities and multi-family developments. Throughout his career, Phillip has evaluated, researched and invested in several endeavors, including auto dealerships and small venture capital groups. He is a minority owner in the Huffines Auto Group, which has sales of over $450,000,000.
Phillip is a lifelong conservative political activist. He has been active in many Republican campaigns for decades, including establishing the Santa Rita Super PAC for Presidential Candidate Ron Paul in 2012. He also worked tirelessly for his twin brother’s successful state Senate race in Dallas county in 2014 and 2018. In 2012, he was a National Delegate to the Republican Convention and he has also served as a State Convention delegate numerous times. In 2016, Phillip was elected Chairman of the Dallas County Republican Party at a time when the party had a negative account balance. In just 15 months, he raised more funds than any Chairman in the history of the party, and grew precinct chair numbers by 30% county wide. When Phillip resigned in November of 2017, he left the party with new office space and cash on hand to cover over a year of expenses. Phillip then announced his candidacy for Texas Senate District 8 and raised more outside campaign contributions in just 15 months than any non-incumbent state senate campaign in history. He did not win the primary election but remains actively involved in republican politics and donates generously to GOP candidates at all levels of government. Phillip is currently serving as the North Texas Finance Co-Chair for the Trump Victory 2020 Campaign.
Phillip has established an unblemished reputation of high integrity. He brings to every project undaunted enthusiasm, a commitment to excellence, and an unwavering dedication to success for everyone involved. He has been married to Holly Hartwell for more than thirty years; they have three adult children, Haley, Hayden, and Garrett. Phillip enjoys exercising, skiing, biking, hunting, and mountain climbing. He is passionate about teaching business classes at local high schools as a volunteer with Junior Achievement where he serves on the Board.
