This past weekend, the Huffines Communities team spent an afternoon at Top Golf for the Junior Achievement of Dallas’ 2022 Stay Groovy Disco Swing.
Over the past few weeks, the team has worked tirelessly to raise money for JA. Those at Huffines raised over $26,000, with one employee, Roxanne Cabrera, bringing in a total of $6325 on her own! All contributions go directly towards preparing and inspiring Dallas students to succeed in a global economy.
My motivation in raising over six thousand dollars was to help JA in their process to prepare and inspire the children for a better tomorrow. – Roxanne Cabrera, Huffines Communities
According to the Junior Achievement website, “Junior Achievement has 109 local JA Areas across the nation, and together we are the nation’s largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures, and make smart academic and economic choices. JA’s programs – in the core content areas of work-readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy – ignite the spark in young people to experience and realize the opportunities and realities of work and life in the 21st century.”
