We joined other members of the home building industry in our community Savannah for the dedication ceremony of a Home for Hope built in the community by our builder Grand Homes, and for the presentation of a $20,000 donation to Homes for Hope made by Huffines Communities.
Homes for Hope is a non-profit organization that builds homes in the U.S. and donates the profits to provide small loans to overseas entrepreneurs to help them start businesses and provide for their families.
Since Homes for Hope’s start in 1998, over 100 homes have been built, generating over $10 million in revenue and leading to tens of thousands of loans issued by HOPE International or like-minded organizations to enable families to break the cycle of poverty.
Huffines Communities is honored to be a part of this fantastic giving opportunity in the home building industry and pray our contribution, joined with the $300,000 of profit from this particular home sale, goes forth to bless thousands of other people in providing for their families and breaking the cycle of generational poverty.
